Bee pollen is the pollen ball that has been packed by worker honeybees into pellets. Bee bread is also the bee pollen with added honey and bee secretions and stored in brood cells, chambers of honeybees or of wood and mud created by female ground-nesting (such as the Leaf cutting Bee) bees. With the Leaf cutting Bee, when the pollen ball is complete, a single female lays an egg on top of the pollen ball, and seals the brood cell. Pollen balls are harvested as food for humans.

Bee pollen is the male seed of a flower blossom which are collected by the honey bees and mixed with the bees’ digestive enzymes. It’s a blend of sticky pollen granules that could contain up to five million pollen spores each. It is considered as one of the most complete foods due to its high level of essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Bee pollen is used all around the world as a daily supplement to boost energy and health. Also, Bee pollen is the primary source of protein for the bees, and also it is widely used for feeding animals as nutrition supplement.

All of our bee pollen is collected from Qinghai, Inner Mongolia and Gansu Province Beekeeping farms, Bee pollen comes from rape flower (Canola), sunflower and other plant are grown in the high mountains.
